Four years ago, I had the honor of becoming President of Jewish National Fund-USA’s Orlando Board of Directors. As my time as president now comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on these remarkable years with an overwhelming sense of gratitude.

None of us could have imagined all that these four years would bring. Through moments of celebration, tremendous challenge, and especially since the October 7 attacks, our Orlando community has continued to stand proudly and unwaveringly with the land and people of Israel.

What I will remember most, however, are the people.

I have had the privilege of serving alongside an extraordinary group of lay leaders, professionals, donors, and friends who don’t just care about Israel, they show up for Israel. Together, we have strengthened JNF-USA’s presence in Orlando, welcomed new people into our work, raised critical support, and deepened the connection between our community and Israel.

To everyone who attended an event, traveled to Israel with us, made a contribution, opened a door, brought a friend, or asked, “How can I help?”– thank you. You are what makes this work possible.

While my time as president is ending, my commitment to JNF-USA and Israel certainly is not. I am excited about the future of our Orlando community and look forward to supporting the leadership that will carry this important work forward.

It has been a true privilege to serve as president these past four years. Thank you for your trust, your partnership, and most of all, for standing together with Israel.

Am Yisrael Chai.

With gratitude, Dr. Michael Beim President, Orlando Board of Directors Jewish National Fund-USA
